Mindfulness meditation produces a deep state of relaxation calm and tranquil mind learning to calm your thoughts through point of focus techniques will help you stabilize your thought’s instead of your thoughts running here there and everywhere like a wild monkey out of control, and when this monkey mind is out of control we become stressed anxious and fearful, we cannot make decisions, then find ourselves living in the future or past lost in thoughts of anxiousness and thinking what we could or what we wanted to have happen……………and not being fully present in the moment we waste so much energy on this roundabout of exhausting emotions that we not living, we are like a car misfiring, until we stop… or we are made to stop we then realise that our mind is important as breathing our mind gets neglected and abused by our emotions and we wonder why we feel exhausted and tired and rundown mindfulness meditation practice is the key to transformation of the mind and emotions. Thoughts can be like bullies and like all bullies they need loving kindness and compassion, mindfulness meditation gives you the tools of compassion and love for your mind to truly learn to be present in the moment in a gentle way that brings about a deep inner a calm that your whole body responds to. Loving kindness meditation is a technique that boots your wellbeing “Metta” means love. This practice of loving kindness meditation increases capacity for love, compassion, forgiveness, goodwill and self-acceptance.
Mindfulness Meditation is learning to pay attention to our thoughts, learning to be fully engaged and present in the moment.
Thoughts are like cars on a busy road and you’re looking at this busy road and too much traffic and noise is happening and your find yourself going off in different cars (thoughts) and your mind is in and out of all of different cars (thoughts) leading to anxiety and stress. Mindfulness meditation involves you sitting using breathing techniques to create space to pay attention to those thoughts, sounds, breathing, then learning to bring your attention back to your point of focus when the mind starts to wonder. Learning to do this without criticism or judgment towards your feelings.
I also teach Micro Mindfulness to use in everyday life and in a workspace to improve your working day.
